Venue hire & events

The facilities at the Segantini Museum can be hired for events, such as company events, family celebrations or weddings. As valuable works by Giovanni Segantini are exhibited in the Museum, the following terms and conditions apply:

No. of persons:

  • max. 50 persons
  • of which max. 30 persons can be seated

Hire charge:

  • The basic all-inclusive rate is CHF 1,000.- for up to 60 minutes
  • Each additional hour costs CHF 200.-
  • Additional services are charged separately

Drinks receptions

Drinks receptions may only be held in the foyer. Food and beverages are prohibited in the exhibition rooms. Guests are not permitted to go beyond the barriers in front of the paintings. In order to protect the paintings, the directions of the Museum staff must be complied with. The Museum is accessible to wheelchair users.

If you have any questions or would like to make a reservation, please contact us. For weddings, in addition to the terms and conditions listed above, the following also applies:


  • Every Monday (throughout the day)
  • Tuesday to Friday: before 10.00am, between 12.15 and 2.00pm
  • In winter, also at 3.30pm
  • During the periods from 21 April to 19 May, and 21 October to 9 December, additional times are possible
  • Flowers: Only in consultation with the Museum staff. Flower arrangement on the wedding table, max. 60 cm wide, 25 cm high. Flower petals may only be thrown or scattered outside the Museum.
