Exhibitions

Since the Giovanni Segantini exhibition, organised by the Segantini Museum in collaboration with the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen in 1999 to mark the 100th anniversary of the artist’s death, the Segantini Museum has held a small but noteworthy summer exhibition around every two years. These always focus on specific aspects of Giovanni Segantini’s works. To date, the following exhibitions have taken place: Back home (2001), Ave Maria Crossing the Lake, Idyll, Silent Prayer and Symbol (2004), Segantini’s Maid: Muse and Modell (2008) and Guest of Honour: Springtime in the Alps (2011).
